HOLLYWOOD VINTAGE DRUM SHOW FEATURES GREGG BISSONETTE CLINIC

Mapex co-sponsored the Tenth Annual Hollywood Custom & Vintage Drum Show in Pasadena earlier this month. Mapex Artist Gregg Bissonette was a featured clinician at the celebration and put on an entertaining and educational clinic that left everyone wanting more.
“Gregg is always a favorite,” said Joe Hibbs, Mapex A&R Manager. “He combines a wealth of experience with a sincere passion for drumming and delivers his message with a heartfelt enthusiasm.”
In attendance for Gregg’s clinic were drumming luminaries Myron Grombacker, Peter Erskine, Glenn Sobel and Preston Ritter.
The HCVD show has a reputation for bringing some of the finest craftsmen in the industry together under on roof to present the very best examples of truly unique custom drums. In addition, many major manufacturers, including Mapex, co-sponsor sponsor the event, which draws drumming enthusiasts from all over the West Coast.
Glenn Noise of West L.A. Music has manned a booth at the show ever since it began in 1996. “The show had a great vibe this year. The turnout was fantastic and business was brisk.” West L.A. Music is one of the Los Angeles area’s largest Mapex retailers.
